A new exhibit titled ‘Shug’s Men’ commemorates the 60th anniversary of Auburn’s first national championship. The display in Ralph Draughon Library looks at the men, from players to coaches who made up Auburn’s 1957 national championship football team.

The exhibit was researched by Jennifer Wiggins, special collections and archives department library technician at Auburn. Wiggins assembled a display that includes a signed team football, team photograph, player and coach quotes, football program, and pictures of notable players who led the team to victory. There is also a special digital enhancement that allows visitors to use their mobile devices to scan a QR code that takes them to highlights of the Auburn vs. Georgia Tech game and clips from the last reunion the players had and their memories of the 1957 championship.

The exhibit is located on the first floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library and is open during all regular library hours. It is a must-see for all Auburn fans and will be available until the end of 2017.
