Notice body

The Academic Sustainability Program is inviting faculty members in all academic units to apply for an opportunity to co-teach interdisciplinary courses in sustainability during 2017-2018. Each course is taught by a team of faculty members from diverse disciplines, pairing individuals with technical and scientific expertise with those having knowledge in social sciences and liberal arts. The courses are taken by students pursuing a minor in sustainability studies as well as non-minor students from all nine colleges across campus.

Co-instructor pay is $3,000 plus benefits per course, with payment to the instructor's department to either buy out part of his or her regular teaching load, or to pay the instructor as compensation for teaching an overload. Applications are currently under review and will be accepted until all positions are filled. For more information and to apply, visit the application website.
