Human Resource Development, in coordination with Maple Human Development, will offer a four hour course on "Applying Psychology to Leadership," on Wednesday, Jan. 18 from 12:45-4:45 p.m. at the HRD Training Facility located at 1550 E. Glenn Ave. This half-day seminar is packed with practical information from the discipline of psychology. Learn how psychology's findings translate to tools that will help you lead people. Topics include: behavior modification, motivation, expectations, group decision-making, brainstorming, persuasion, cohesion and teambuilding, conflict resolution and altruism. The high-energy, engaging and fun presentation includes colorful, real-world examples and emphasizes class participation. The program will be presented by Thomas S. Maple of Maple Human Development.
