The Auburn University Core Curriculum Program in Rome, Italy offers students an opportunity to complete two core curriculum courses over five weeks in a beautiful international setting. The program is a collaboration between Auburn’s Office of International Programs, the College of Liberal Arts, the College of Sciences and Mathematics, and the University of Arkansas Rome Center. The center hosts students from several American universities. This partnership offers participants a chance to meet students from other universities and it helps control the cost of the program.

Students must choose two courses. The courses offered on this program include: 

COMM 1000 – Public Speaking, 3 credits

MATH 1610 – Calculus I, 4 credits

PHIL 1020 – Introduction to Ethics, 3 credits

POLI 1050 - Global Politics and Issues, 3 credits

SCMH 1010 – Concepts of Science, 4 credits
