The Biggio Center, Auburn University’s professional development center for faculty, staff and GTAs, will be offering a four-part interactive workshop series throughout the spring 2017 semester to prepare Auburn faculty to teach in the new Engaged Active Student Learning classrooms in the Mell Classroom Building. Each session will address one of the four challenges specific to the transition to active learning: pedagogy, technology, space and integration.

All workshops will be held in 246 Foy Hall, which features the same furniture and similar technology to the new classrooms. Interested faculty can learn more and register for the workshops online. This page also houses a link to a Qualtrics information survey instructors where instructors can indicate their interest in teaching in the new classroom spaces. Participating in the Biggio Center’s active learning workshops will ensure preferential scheduling.
