Applications for the 2017 LAUNCH Innovation Grants Program will be accepted until Thursday, Dec. 15. Now in its second year, LAUNCH is an internal, competitive grant program designed to support proof-of-commercial concept research. The fund, an initiative of the Office of Vice President for Research and Economic Development, has a specific goal to advance the commercial potential of Auburn technologies and bring them closer to licensing, either to an existing company or to a proposed start-up company. The prize pool for the competition is up to $100,000, which can be split and granted to one or more awardees. Presentations by finalists are scheduled for March 31, in conjunction with the Tiger Cage finale and other events as part of the Auburn University Entrepreneurship Summit, hosted by the Raymond J. Harbert College of Business. For more information, visit the LAUNCH Fund website.
