The principal and chief financial officer of architecture firm VJAA located in Minneapolis, will deliver the final lecture in Architecture’s fall 2016 lecture series “Unfolding Narratives: vision | contingency | legacy” on Monday, Nov. 14. Vincent James, who holds the designation of Fellow of the American Institute of Architects and is the Cass Gilbert Professor in practice at the University of Minnesota School of Architecture, will speak at 3:30 p.m. in B6 Dudley Commons. His lecture, “Surreptitious Urbanisms: Resituating Practice,” is free and open to the public. The lecture series is supported by practicing architects, planners and landscape architects in Alabama.
