In an effort to improve customer service, Facilities Management is now emailing work order completion notifications to all customers once a service request has been completed. In the past, Facilities sent out work order submission confirmations, but not completion notifications. The completion notification is an extended service designed to notify customers of the status of their requests.

“Customer satisfaction is very important to us,” said Ron Booth, executive director of Facility Operations in Facilities Management. “We are continually looking for new and improved means to communicate with our clients regarding their work order requests and the completion notifications are just one step in that direction.”

In addition, a brief customer satisfaction survey is embedded within each completion notification.

“As far as we are concerned, the job isn’t complete until we are sure our customers are satisfied with our work,” Booth said. “It is our hope that clients will take the brief survey. Information gathered will be used to assess and improve our performance, as well as follow-up with clients if needed.”

The surveys give clients the option to provide a quick 1-5 star rating or click to answer additional questions, provide specific feedback and request additional service if needed.
