Auburn University Dance Marathon, or AUDM, is holding a campaign called “Build a NICU” Nov. 14-17 in order to raise awareness and money for their $2,000,000 pledge over the next five years for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, or NICU, at the Children’s Hospital at Columbus Regional Health at Midtown Medical Center.

AUDM recently released their goal of $500,000, which will benefit the hospital that serves children in need of medical attention. Columbus Regional Health serves more than 21 counties in West Georgia and East Alabama.

Auburn University Dance Marathon is offering a special opportunity for donors to join in naming the NICU. Every participant who raises $500 by Nov. 18 may submit a name to be considered for the NICU. Participants who have raised $2,000 will be offered a position on the official naming board which will assist AUDM executives and hospital administration in selecting the name.
