The College of Sciences and Mathematics Office of Outreach will host the November AU Science Café on Tuesday, Nov. 15, from 6:30-7:30 p.m., at Mama Mocha’s Coffee Emporium located at 414 South Gay St. The AU Science Cafe is a monthly event that provides an opportunity for the community to discuss cutting-edge scientific topics with an Auburn University scientist.

The November AU Science Café will feature guest scientist Rasika Ramesh, a graduate student in the School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences. Ramesh will discuss, “The Waters Around US: Protecting Local Water Sources.”

Ramesh will emphasize the growing importance of remaining conscientious about the waters that feed our community. No scientific background is required to participate in the AU Science Café, and no question is too silly to ask. For more information, contact Josh King at 734-1182 or at josh.king@auburn.edu.
