Fourth-year pharmacy students Kathleen Daniell and Ali Stringberg won the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, or ASHP, local Clinical Skills Competition on Oct. 7. Daniell is a native of Huntsville and Stringberg is a native of Lees Summit, Missouri. The pair will move on to represent the Harrison School of Pharmacy at the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting, Dec. 4-8, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Clinical Skills Competition is an interactive, team-based analysis of clinical scenarios for hospital/health-system pharmacists. It provides pharmacy students the opportunity to enhance their skills in collaborative practice with physicians in providing direct patient care. Learn more about the competition online.
