Notice body

The Auburn University Election 2016 Forum will be held Oct. 4-6 in Langdon Hall. Auburn University faculty, staff and students are invited to attend. The forum will include talks about how to discuss politics in a reasoned, ethical way with those who might not share the same views as well as discuss the first presidential debate held on Sept. 26. It will also aim to generate issues of importance for the next debate on Oct. 9, share information about local and state elections, and help students register to vote. The forum will also hold a mock election.

Sponsored by the Southern Poverty Law Center on Campus organization and the League of Women Voters of East Alabama, this event offers the Auburn Family the opportunity to learn about issues and candidates and to engage in rational debate with peers and faculty.
