In conjunction with the upcoming bicentennial of Mary Shelley’s novel, "Frankenstein," The Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art presents the 1931 classic film version starring Boris Karloff on Thursday, Oct. 27, at 5 p.m. in the museum’s auditorium. Dr. Henry Frankenstein creates a monster from various posthumous 'donors' and combines them into a massive creature, to whom he wishes to bestow life. The movie centers on this monster and his struggle in this life after death. Auditorium seating is limited for this free presentation, and costumes are welcomed.
