Notice body

A tour of the medicinal plant garden will be held Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 5 p.m. The tour is free and open to all. Learn about the health benefits of various herbs and native plants, discover plants that are natural mosquito repellants, watch beneficial insects at work and enjoy an evening in nature. Various plants grown in the garden will be for sale after the tour.

To get to the garden from main campus, drive south on College Street, turn right on Woodfield, turn right on the first gravel road and then turn right through the first gate. The garden tour is normally held on the third Thursday of each month, but has been adjusted due to football season. Contact Tia Gonzalez at greentia@live.com for more information.
