Jean Paul Bazansanga will speak during a lunch session on Tuesday, Sept. 27, in 2310 Student Center. Bazansanga is a native Rwandan who experienced the 1994 genocide first hand. Through the terror, Bazansanga cast a dream to overcome post genocide hardships and pledged to uplift Rwandan's youth. Vision of Life Icyusa, a non-government organization founded by Bazansanga, involves youth in rural sustainable development initiatives and improves quality of life for Rwandans.

The session is co-sponsored by the Cary Center for the Advancement of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies in the College of Human Sciences and Engineers Without Borders in the College of Engineering. Reservations are required and can be made via e-mail to carycenter@auburn.edu.
