In summer 2016, the AUTogether Implementation Committee established a new lecture series to provide greater insight and understanding to issues of inclusion and diversity on Auburn’s campus. The Provost’s Inclusion and Diversity Lecture Series will include national thought-leaders, academicians, researchers, faculty, staff and community leaders.

On Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016, the series welcomes William “Bill” Tierney to campus. Tierney currently serves as co-director of the Pullias Center for Higher Education and Wilbur-Kieffer Professor of Higher Education in the Rossier School of Education at the University of Southern California. His scholarly interests include organizational performance, equity and faculty recognition and rewards. Tierney teaches courses on the administration and governance of higher education and on qualitative methods.
