Business analytics expert Dave Schrader will address the golden age of sports analytics on Monday, Sept.19, from 10 a.m. to noon in 402 Lowder Hall.

Schrader retired from Teradata Corporation after serving as director of strategy and marketing. During his career, Schrader helped Teradata customers understand how to strategically use big and traditional data to create predictive models and analytic insights for strategic and operational employees and systems.

New research avenues connected to college and professional athletics have opened up thanks to advances in wearable technology, video analytics and the implementation of "Moneyball" strategies.

The session is open to Auburn University faculty and doctoral students. For more information contact Troy Johnson at 844-8859 and visit the Raymond J. Harbert College of Business website.
