Higher education faces more regulatory requirements than ever, and every employee plays a role in managing compliance risks. Kevin Robinson, associate vice president in the Office of Audit, Compliance and Privacy, will present a half-day compliance workshop on Wednesday, Sept. 28, from 8 a.m. until noon in 1204 B Administrative Complex located at 1550 East Glenn Ave. The course will be divided into two sessions: "Managing the Risks Associated with Occupational Fraud" from 8-10 a.m., and "Compliance Risks in Higher Education" from 10 a.m.-noon. These sessions will provide an overview of higher education’s compliance hot topics and areas that may require special attention. Participants will take a look at actual events throughout higher education to help employees become better equipped to deal with compliance challenges and proactively manage risk.
