The Caroline Marshall Draughon Center for the Arts and Humanities in the College of Liberal Arts, Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center and the Auburn Arts Association invite you to “Celebrate the Arts on the Hill” on Sunday, Oct. 2, from 3-5 p.m. at Pebble Hill.

Arts and Humanities Month will kick off at 3 p.m. with art activities for children and tours of the historic 1847 Scott-Yarbrough house. A special performance celebrating the creative spirit by the Auburn University/Community Orchestra will begin at 4 p.m.

The event is free, open to the public and family-friendly. Bring a chair or blanket. Parking onsite is limited, but street parking is available.

Throughout October, the College of Liberal Arts will host performances, lectures, exhibitions and other special events that offer opportunities to learn about, experience and participate in the arts and humanities. Visit the website for a calendar of events.
