Human Resource Development, in coordination with Maple Human Development, is offering a four hour course on "Applying Psychology to Leadership," on Tuesday, Oct. 4 from 8 a.m.-noon at the Human Resource Development Training Facility located at 1550 East Glenn Ave. This half-day seminar is packed with practical information from the discipline of psychology. Learn how psychology's findings translate to tools that will help you lead people. Topics include behavior modification, motivation, expectations, group decision-making, brainstorming, persuasion, cohesion and teambuilding, conflict resolution and altruism. The high-energy, engaging and fun presentation includes colorful, real-world examples and emphasizes class participation. The program will be presented by Thomas S. Maple of Maple Human Development.
