Notice body

This lecture will briefly detail some of the highlights of the Supreme Court’s last term in areas such as voting redistricting, abortion regulation, retro-application of criminal procedural law, and exclusionary rule and violations of the Fourth Amendment. All of these topics plus several more subjects of landmark U.S. Supreme Court decisions in its 2015-16 term will be discussed. Clifton Perry holds the Hudson Endowed Professorship in the Auburn University Department of Political Science. He will guide his listeners through those significant rulings at a brown bag lunch and learn session presented by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Auburn University, or OLLI at Auburn.

The luncheon will be on Tuesday, Aug. 9, from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Clarion Inn & Suites, 1577 South College St. The event is free and open to the public. Bring your own lunch; coffee and water provided.
