Master classes will begin on Friday, Aug. 26 and run through Saturday at 6 p.m. Friday evening will feature a viewing of Julie Taymor’s “A Midsummer Night's Dream," followed by a visit and discussion with Taymor, an Academy-award winning director, after the showing.

For a full list of available courses and events, visit the website.

Many Auburn alumni will be coming back to the Plains to attend and teach these master classes, and there will be students and faculty in attendance from all over the Southeast, including Virginia, North Carolina, Mississippi, Florida and Georgia. Vendors and sponsors will have tables and booths set up for attendees. Three Disney recruiters will be on-site to talk with anyone interested in pursuing an internship. Master classes in this setting allow attendees an up-close and hands-on opportunity to work in the field of technical theatre.
