Haley Porter, a graduate student conducting research in the Harrison School of Pharmacy, recently took first place for her podium presentation entitled "Cyclodextrins in Ophthalmic Drug Delivery" at the Graduate Research Association of Students in Pharmacy Regional Conference. The conference was held July 22-24 at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida. Cyclodextrins are molecules that can improve water solubility of certain drugs, thereby improving drug delivery.
