The ePortfolio Project is hosting a new faculty workshop this fall with the option to attend either Monday, Aug. 22 or Tuesday, Aug. 23, from 3:30-4:45 p.m. in the ePortfolio Project Studio, located in the Ralph Brown Draughon Library second floor Learning Commons. "A Non-Designer's Guide to Teaching Visual Literacy" is for faculty and staff who want to learn more about teaching visual literacy in ePortfolios. Leading the workshop will be cohort faculty members from studio art, graphic design and consumer and design sciences. Faculty participants will discuss and evaluate design choices and engage in activities to reinforce strategies for teaching visual literacy in non-design disciplines. Registration is free but required due to limited space. For more information and to register, visit the ePortfolio Project website or email
