In today’s economy, non-profit organizations are simultaneously facing increasing demands and diminishing resources. Subsequently, making the most efficient use of staff time is even more critical. Join the Auburn University Office of Public Service for a time management workshop on Thursday, July 21, from 1-2:30 p.m. at the Auburn Chamber of Commerce, located at 714 East Glenn Ave. Nancy Alexander with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System will share information that will help you employ different techniques to streamline your workday and make the most of the time you spend fighting for your cause. Nancy Alexander is the Extension Specialist for 4-H Volunteerism and Fund Development for the Alabama Cooperative Extension System at Auburn campus. Nancy began her career in Extension in Washington County, Florida as a County Extension Agent for 4-H and Youth Development in 1997. She joined the Alabama 4-H program in 2004 as a Regional Extension Agent and took the position of Extension Specialist in 2007. Nancy is a two-time graduate of the University of Florida where she received her bachelor’s degree in animal science and agriculture education and a master’s degree in agriculture.
