A tour of the medicinal plant garden located in the Auburn University crop garden will be held Thursday, June 16, at 4:30 p.m. The tour is free and open to all. Tia Gonzales will discuss the plants in the garden and other events that will be held throughout the summer. A few plants will be offered for sale with the benefits attributed to keeping the garden and medicinal plant collection afloat. Tents and chairs will be set up along the garden to account for the afternoon sun.

To find the garden, search for the Auburn University Medicinal Plant Garden on Google Maps or follow these instructions:

From South College Street, turn west onto Woodfield Drive, opposite the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art. After 0.2 miles, turn right through the first gate onto a gravel road. Turn right through the first gate and continue straight to the grassy area to park. The garden is located on the right.
