A training session on Campus Safety and Active Shooter Response will be offered for students Tuesday, June 21, from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Foy Auditorium. This training provides an overview of safety devices on campus; how to prepare for emergencies; and options during an incident involving an active shooter. Topics discussed include evacuation considerations; methods to secure and barricade doors to slow down an aggressor's entry; and, as a last resort, how to counter an attack in order to get away to safety.
