The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Auburn University, or OLLI at Auburn, will host a brown bag lunch and learn on Tuesday, June 14, at the Clarion Inn and Suites located at 1577 South College St. in Auburn. OLLI lecturer John Tidwell will present a talk about Charles Lindbergh, “‘Lucky Lindy’s Landing’ or ‘Lindy’s Lucky Landing’ – Whatever.” The program begins at 11:30 a.m. and the public is invited. There is no charge; bring a lunch and drink.

According to Tidwell, the talk will include a variety of details and topics related to Charles Lindbergh. He explained: “We're going to take an in-depth look at Charles Lindbergh. What was his background before flying? How did he become interested in flying? When? How did he begin? Were all of his decisions to fly good ones? What kind of experience in flying did he have before the big flight to Paris from New York? What sort of international relations did he have after the flight?”
