Pamela Stamm, assistant professor in the Harrison School of Pharmacy's Department of Pharmacy Practice, has been selected as a fellow by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, or ASHP. She will be honored at the ASHP Summer Meeting June 14 in Baltimore, Maryland. The ASHP Practitioner Recognition Program recognizes excellence in pharmacy practice and promotes public awareness of pharmacists who have distinguished themselves in practice. Candidates for ASHP's Practitioner Recognition Program must be practitioner members of ASHP with a record of outstanding service to ASHP and have at least 10 years of professional service to hospital and health-system pharmacy. Candidates must demonstrate sustained commitment or contributions to excellence in health-system pharmacy, contribute to the total body of knowledge in hospital and health-system pharmacy, be involved in and committed to educating practitioners and others, and demonstrate active involvement and leadership in ASHP and other professional organizations.
