The Auburn Multicultural Center and the International Student Organization will kick off Asian/Pacific Islander American Heritage Month on April 4 at 6 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom with a keynote presentation by Jennifer 8. Lee. Lee is a producer, entrepreneur, former New York Times journalist and author of the New York Times-bestselling book, “The Fortune Cookie Chronicles.” Lee graduated with a degree in applied math and economics from Harvard, where she was vice president of The Harvard Crimson. At the kickoff event, Lee will present and discuss her documentary, "The Search for General Tso," immediately following cultural performances featuring the Atlanta Chinese Dance Company. Additional sponsors for this event are the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures - Confucius Classroom, the Office of University Writing and ePortfolio Program, Division of Student Affairs and the Women's Center.
