James Barth, the Lowder Eminent Scholar in Finance at Auburn University, will present a book talk at the next Auburn University Libraries Discover Auburn Lecture Series on “The First Great Financial Crisis of the 21st Century: A Retrospective.” This book reviews and analyzes the causes, consequences and the regulatory responses to the Great Financial Crisis, particularly from a public policy viewpoint. The program will be held Thursday, April 14, at 3 p.m. in the Caroline Marshall Draughon Auditorium on the ground floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library. A reception will follow the program.
