The Industrial Design program in the School of Industrial and Graphic Design will host an expanded version of its annual event, Designing Green, a sustainable design competition, as part of the Industrial Design Society of America South District Conference being held at Auburn University. Designing Green activities begin on Friday, April 15, at 9 a.m. in 104 Student Activities Center. Bryan Shackelford of Eastman Innovation Lab will speak on site, and Vander Kooji will speak from the Netherlands via Skype at 10 a.m. A cookout on Wallace Hall lawn will follow at noon and Jeff Smith, with the Industrial Design Society of America, will host a workshop on Autodesk software at 1 p.m. in 107 Wallace Hall.
