Notice body

The Biggio Center is seeking proposals for departmental sets of iPads, available beginning summer 2016.

Proposals must include rationales that describe how the devices will be used in alignment with the university's mission, with plans for use over the next year. Priority will be given to uses that support Auburn University student learning and success. Additionally, the rationale should identify a departmental/college liaison who has experience using or supporting iPads in learning, will coordinate use within the department or unit and work with faculty to ensure the devices are used in alignment with mindful teaching practice and iPad supported learning research.

The iPad workgroup will evaluate proposals using the following criteria: project description for one year including alignment with the university mission and plan for sharing results of the use of devices in learning situations (Conversations in Celebration of Teaching, iTeach, regional or national conferences).

In an attempt to cooperate with end of semester activities, the application survey will be open until May 16 at noon online.
