The subject of this week's Take 5 on the university's homepage is Dionel Sylvester, a 2010 graduate from the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering. Sylvester, who studied mechanical engineering, is now flying high as a fight test engineer in Florida. His company, Sikorsky, produces the Sikorsky Blackhawk Helicopter, which entered into service in the '70s and is still being produced in high volumes today. They are currently testing one of the largest helicopters, the CH-53K, and the Raider, a helicopter that uses X2 technology, which is famous for breaking the rotorcraft level flight speed record.
