Human Resource Development, in coordination with Maple Human Development, will offer a 4-hour course on "Applying Psychology to Leadership," on Thursday, March 24 from 12:45 p.m.- 4:45 p.m. at the HRD Training Facility located at 1550 E. Glenn Ave. This half-day seminar is packed with practical information from the discipline of psychology. Learn how psychology's findings translate to tools that will help you lead people. Topics include behavior modification, motivation, expectations, group decision-making, brainstorming, persuasion, cohesion and teambuilding, conflict resolution and altruism. The high-energetic, engaging and fun presentation includes colorful, real-world examples and emphasizes class participation. The program will be presented by Thomas S. Maple of Maple Human Development. The course fee is $50.00, payable by departmental FOP.
