Luis E. Carranza, Ph.D., is the next lecturer in the Spring 2016 Architecture Lecture Series, “On the Brink: Beyond Which Success or Catastrophe Occurs,” on Monday, March 28, at 4 p.m. Carranza is a professor of Architecture and of Art and Architectural History at Roger Williams University and an adjunct associate professor at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. Carranza’s research and published works focus primarily on modern architecture and Latin American and Mexican modern art and architecture. His lecture, “Modern Architecture in Latin America: Art, Technology and Utopia,” will be in Dudley Commons B6 auditorium and is free and open to the public. The lecture series is supported by practicing architects, planners and landscape architects in Alabama. For more information, visit the website.
