Vishnu Suppiramaniam, D.V.M., Ph.D, has been promoted to assistant dean for research and graduate programs within the Harrison School of Pharmacy by Dean R. Lee Evans. Suppiramaniam joined the school full time more than 15 years ago and has served in vital roles in the Department of Drug Discovery and Development in that time.

“Vishnu will be a valuable asset to the enhancement and expansion of our graduate program offerings and extramurally-funded scholarly activity,” said David Riese, associate dean for research and graduate programs. “We are very excited to have him on board as we grow our department.”

Suppiramaniam brings a wealth of experience to his new role, most recently as interim Department Head in Drug Discovery and Development. In his new role, he will assist in promoting the engagement of School of Pharmacy faculty in all research endeavors within the school, across campus and external to this university.
