The School of Kinesiology will offer free drop-in mindfulness sessions beginning Feb. 16 and continuing throughout the semester. Sessions will be held in 156 Kinesiology on Mondays from 7:30-8:30 a.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-5 p.m.

Coordinator of Optimization Reita Clanton and graduate students Ford Dyke and Sarah Gascon will lead the sessions. They will guide participants through the five pillars of health: breathing, exercise, sleep, nutrition and hydration. They will also teach participants to relax, breathe deeply, center themselves, reduce stress and practice gratitude. The sessions are open to all students, faculty and staff.
