Notice body

The Provost’s Office continues to engage members of the campus community in a focused dialogue regarding the planning and construction of future academic facilities and the development of surrounding areas. Faculty, students and staff are invited to participate in an open forum on Wednesday, Feb. 24, from 3:30 p.m. – 5 p.m. in 258 Foy Hall to discuss future plans for the Mell Street Corridor.

Completion of the Mell Classroom Building in August 2017 will result in changes to pedestrian and bicycle circulation, transit routes, traffic and parking on both Mell Street and the surrounding roadway. During the forum, representatives from Facilities Management will share initial proposals for future use of the area once construction of the Mell Classroom Building is complete. Following the presentations, participants are invited to take part in breakout sessions designed to incorporate suggestions and ideas from the campus community.
