Project Uplift will host its first of eight orientation sessions for students interested in being mentors this spring semester on Sunday, Jan 31 from 3-7 p.m. All of the sessions will be held in 158 Cary Hall auditorium. Mentors are required to attend one training session. During the sessions, students will be trained to mentor children ages 5-12.  The mentor orientation is titled "Be Someone Who Matters to Someone Who Matters."

Below is a full list of training session dates:

  • Tuesday, Feb. 9, 4-8 p.m.
  • Monday, Feb. 22, 4-8 p.m.
  • Sunday, March 6, 3-7 p.m.
  • Monday, March 21, 4-8 p.m.
  • Tuesday, April 5, 4-8 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 17, 3-7 p.m.
