Sarah Vest Cogle, Pharm.D., an assistant professor in the Harrison School of Pharmacy's Department of Pharmacy Practice, was recently recognized with the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, or A.S.P.E.N., Pharmacy Practice Section New Practitioner Award for her research titled, “Sliding Scale Regular Human Insulin in Critically Ill Patients Receiving Nutrition Support.” She received the award during the Pharmacy Practice Section Community Forum during A.S.P.E.N.’s Clinical Nutrition Week in Austin, Texas on Jan. 17. The award recognizes the achievements of a new practitioner of nutrition support of A.S.P.E.N., who is involved in furthering the science and practice of nutrition support.
