Mary Belk, author of "A Cup to Go," will be giving a book talk on Thursday, Feb. 11 at 4 p.m. at The Caroline Marshall Draughon Center for the Arts and Humanities at 101 S. Debardeleben St., known as Pebble Hill. Belk’s “A Cup to Go” is her second collection of columns written for the Auburn Bulletin and Opelika-Auburn News. An Auburn resident and former anthropology professor, Belk has been writing her weekly column for more than 21 years. The collection is published by Solomon and George, a nonprofit press that publishes work by new and established writers speaking to—and preserving—the life and culture of the South.

The public is invited to attend the free event. Refreshments will be served following the talk. Books will be available for purchase and signing. Pebble Hill will be open for tours from 3-4 p.m.
