Belmont Freeman, Fellow of the American Institute of Architects and principal of Belmont Freeman Architects in New York City, will deliver the next lecture in the Spring 2016 Architecture Lecture Series, “On the Brink: Beyond which Success or Catastrophe Occurs,” on Monday, Feb. 1 at 4 p.m. An American of Cuban descent, Freeman is regarded as an expert on Cuban architecture. His lecture, “The Architecture of the Cuban Revolution: Construction of a New Modernist Identity,” will be in Dudley Commons B6 auditorium. It is free and open to the public. The lecture series is supported by practicing architects, planners and landscape architects in the state of Alabama. More information can be found online
