The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Auburn University, or OLLI at Auburn, is holding its general membership meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 13, at 10 a.m. at the Clarion Inn and Suites, located at 1577 S. College St. Guest speaker James Floyd, past director of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine’s Canine Performance Services, will present a program called “How Auburn Dogs Serve and Protect Us.”

The program will be preceded by an information fair from 8:45-9:45 a.m. and followed by the new member orientation from 11:30 a.m. until noon. Cookies and coffee will be available all morning.

The OLLI Winter Term 2016 classes will start the week of Jan. 25 and conclude the week of March 10. OLLI offers more than 45 courses ranging from culinary and wine classes to exercise including tai chi and yoga, in addition to traditional academic courses in foreign language, writing, novels and short stories, science, nature, art and more.
