The lunch and learn sessions are events scheduled each month to address health and wellness topics. An Auburn University administrator or faculty member delivers the event topic based on their expertise. Participants enjoy a low cost healthy meal prepared by Tiger Dining and will hear about the healthy benefits of the meal from the Nutrition Team from Campus Recreation and Wellness.

This month, Carolyn Stout, pharmacy resident with the Harrison School of Pharmacy, will be the featured speaker on Wednesday, Jan. 20 from noon-1:15 p.m. Her presentation, "What those Numbers Mean," will discuss what all of the biometric screening numbers mean, why they are important and offer suggestions on how to lower numbers in an alarm range.

The presentation will be located on the Thach concourse in the Village Residence Hall area. The cost of the event is five dollars plus tax, which is payable at the door with cash or card. An RSVP is required by Monday, Jan. 18 at noon. For more information and to RSVP, contact Tammy Hollis at hollite@auburn.edu
