The York Distinguished Lectures and the Littleton-Franklin Lectures in Science and Humanities, along with the Provost’s Office and the John and Mary Franklin Foundation, will host a lecture next month.

The lecture, titled “Forests, Farms and Fairs: the links between human and animal health and disease,” will be presented by Beth P. Bell. The lecture will be on Tuesday, Feb. 9 at 4 p.m. in Lowder Building Room 113A. The event is free and open to the public.

Bell is director of the National Center of Infectious and Zoonotic Emerging Diseases, part of the Centers for Communicable Disease in Atlanta.
