Auburn University is joining the Scale Back Alabama challenge for the 10th year of fighting the obesity crisis in Alabama. Auburn University employees have an opportunity to participate without leaving campus.

The Auburn University Pharmaceutical Care Center, or AUPCC, and the School of Kinesiology will serve as a private weigh in/out sites for Auburn University employees who wish to participate in the challenge. This challenge is meant to encourage you and a team member to lose 10 pounds each in 10 weeks while also encourage participants to use this challenge as a launching point to make healthy lifestyle changes. To enter the challenge, register your team online.

Contact Tammy Hollis at for a weigh in appointment at the AUPCC. Appointment spots are available the week of Jan. 25-29. Some morning and some afternoon appointment spots will be offered at the AUPCC. The AUPCC is located in 2155 Walker Building in the Harrison School of Pharmacy.

The School of Kinesiology weigh in/out site will be available without appointment from 11 a.m.-1p.m. and 4-5 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 25, Wednesday, Jan. 27 and Friday, Jan. 29. The School of Kinesiology Building is located at 301 Wire Road, Room 126.
