Auburn University students will have the opportunity to showcase their research during the “This is Research: Student Symposium 2016” scheduled for April 12 and 13 in the Student Center. Abstracts will be accepted from Jan. 14 until Feb. 23.

Undergraduate and graduate students are invited to participate through oral presentations, posters and creative scholarship displays. The symposium will include judging of students’ presentations and opportunities for prospective students and potential employers to view and discuss students’ research. An awards ceremony will be held the week following the symposium and will feature a keynote speaker and reception.

A fall semester event, “This is Research: Faculty Symposium 2016,” will recognize faculty excellence in research. More details on the symposiums will be announced through Auburn’s e-newsletters and on the This is Research website.
