Hamed Majidzadeh, a Ph.D. student in the School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences, was the winner of Auburn University's Three Minute Thesis on Nov. 19. Three Minute Thesis, or 3MT, is a research communication competition that challenges graduate students to communicate their research and its significance to a non-specialist audience in only three minutes. As the winner, Majidzadeh will represent Auburn at the Conference of Southern Graduate Schools 3MT competition in February. Hisham Abdelrahman, a Ph.D. student in the School of Fisheries, Aquaculture and Aquatic Sciences, was the runner-up and People’s Choice Award winner.
