Notice body

A portion of the Facilities Management parking lot will be closed from Dec. 7 until the end of February to replace underground fuel storage tanks. Beginning the second week in December, Facilities will implement temporary fueling vehicle procedures and a revised Tiger Transit route. Each change will allow Facilities to continue providing customer service with minimal impact to its clients and visitors. Temporary procedures are outlined below.

Fuel Pump Location and Fueling Hours:
The gasoline and diesel fuel pumps will be temporarily located in the Facilities Management complex between Building 3 and Building 4.

From Dec. 7 until Dec. 11, the temporary pumps will be manual, with an attendant on duty Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. to assist customers. Fueling cannot take place if the attendant is not on duty. The pumps will be manual during this time while the Banner ID swipe card system is being relocated to the temporary fuel pump location.

From Dec. 12 until February, gasoline fuel will be available at all hours via the Banner ID card swipe system. Diesel fuel will remain manually operated with an attendant during the hours listed above.

Holiday diesel fuel schedule: An attendant will be on duty during the holiday break, from Dec. 21 until Dec. 23 and Dec. 28 until Dec. 30 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Revised Tiger Transit Route:
Tiger Transit buses will run a revised route by entering the complex from Lem Morrison Drive. Buses will continue to pick up passengers in front of the 3D Arts Building and exit the complex via Samford Avenue.

Parking Options:
Additional parking spaces will be marked between Facilities Buildings 4 and 5 to replace spaces located inside construction fencing. Overflow parking will also be available between Facilities Building 6 and the 3D Arts Building.

A map outlining the construction zone, temporary fuel pump location and revised Tiger Transit route is available on the Facilities Management Temporary Road and Facilities Closure webpage.
